The original concept of the first cala ossidiana collection. This double-layer onepiece was the jumping off point for the design of the whole line. Back in the early 80s, a 7 year old future swimwear designer was watching the older, taller, cooler teenage girls on the diving team. Those girls loved the tank bathing suits of the decade, and had multitudes of them - but the suits were too sheer. To get around this problem (and be allowed out of the house!) the teenage girls would wear 2 or 3 bathing suits at the same time ... which became the inspiration for the double-layer tank.

It's a sporty yet sexy look, created with a unique lightweight Italian jersey. The two layers intersect beautifully when worn together ... or each layer can be worn alone.

Deep plunge in a soft V at the front, while a sculpted X racerback rests in a low scoop at the back. The front dips down to just under the bust, where the band of your bra would sit. Amazing cut is very flattering for the bum and legs - it's a little more bare like a European or Brazilian cut, but the line is perfectly placed to give just enough coverage. And it looks great on everyone!

To care for swimwear, handwash in cool water with mild detergent. do not use bleach. line dry.
